We are very proud of our “RusBud” bloodline and the look of the puppies. All of our mom come from our on-basset litters. Our dads are imported as puppies from some of the top show basset hound breeders in the world. This combination produces healthy high-quality puppies. With extra long ears, baseballs size feet and a heart of gold. Once born we give them all the love and care they need until ready for your family. Huggable Bassets started from the pure love, for the basset hound breed. We work very hard to take care of getting your new family member ready to run and play. Lowdown Love Basset Hound
We have loved and raised basset hounds for 15 years and take the blessing of having these fantastic animals very seriously. They are first and foremost our pets, and family …. living in our home … which is where the puppies live out there time with us. Never exposed to outdoors at all to protect them from contagious disease. We work very closely with our veterinarian . Excellent health and temperament are what we strive for with our puppies as well as our dogs. We raise European and American basset hounds but most of our litters are half or full European ,with occasional American litters.
Basset Hounds are my passion. After having lost 2 CKC Bassets at young ages I decided to get AKC and have higher quality and healthier dogs. Now I have only European Bassets to add to the quality and health and to improve the breed.I have strived to better the breed and raise high quality, healthy bassets.
