Our Bassets are extremely smart, athletic and have excellent temperaments. We only breed a select few litters a year and are focused on delivering the best quality pet for your family.
We are an in home breeder. All of our adults are kept up on all shots, wormings, heart,guard, and flea meds. All of our dogs are registered with AKC or CKC. We want all of our moms and dads to be as healthy as possible so they can provide you with healthy and outstanding pups to add to your family and wonderful and healthy pets for ours!
There is a lot of effort that goes unto our program that involves the whole family,to ensure the best of the breed and health. Our puppies and adults will not be placed with puppymills,brokers,labortories,or any non- responsible breeder.We care for our dogs and want them to be in a loving home.
We do breed on occasion but we have them mainly because of our love of this breed.Our main focus is to maintain the AKC standard of excellence.That is how we produce the best puppies possible when we do have them. Since our goal is to provide families with healthy loving companions, special attention is spent on temperment and soundness.They are great dogs for families with kids very laid back and just love to be loved on.

I began the Renaissance line in 2004, but I had my first basset when I was 12. The dogs live in the house and have a large, fenced-in area in which to romp during good weather.The focus of my kennel is on show dogs and companions. Actually, all of my dogs are companions first, but many have also finished their championships in conformation.I’m extremely involved in promoting the breed. I currently serve as the president of the Basset Hound Club of Greater Detroit.
We have been a member of the Basset Hound Club of America since 1995. Our outdoor kennel is sand with comfortable insulated housing, shade during the hot Summer days and heating for the younger pups during the Winter. Whelping is done inside our home so we can watch and assist Mom & babies as needed. They are then introduced to the outside kennel at approximately 6 weeks of age, depending on the litter size and outdoor conditions.
We have 9 Basset Hound puppies were born on Sept. 30, 2021. We have 3 female tri colors, 1 mahogany/white female, 1 tri male, and 3 red/white males. They are CKC reg. pups, $1000 will come with a Health Certificate, registration papers, dewormed. We will be accepting dep. when the puppies turn 1 wk old. Temperament and health are our primary concerns along with choosing dogs that match the AKC Standard for Basset Hounds as closely as possible. Our efforts to show our dogs in AKC conformation is a big part of that commitment.
