Basset Hounds are my passion. Now I have only European Bassets to add to the quality and health and to improve the breed. My bassets are home raised, not outside in an kennel. I also do not sell to anyone unless they agree the pup will be indoors. I am President of the Hendersonville Kennel Club and run the conformation classes. Since November 2015 we have commenced an even more extensive breeder background check. Before puppies are selected, a 5-year background check is done on breeders, where USDA inspection reports, whelps.org and Google searches are carefully looked into. Located in East Texas, we are a small kennel that raises our beautiful Basset & Boston babies in the home. They are started with love and lots of socialization. Our parents were chosen for not only their beautiful looks, but also their wonderful temperments.
We have been breeding and raising Basset Hounds on our small country estate near Baton Rouge, Louisiana, since 1998. Our dogs are happy, healthy, and well cared for. They are provided with excellent shelter and have plenty of room for exercise. Our puppies are AKC registered and recieve their first round of vaccintions and at least one worming on site. All pups are checked by a vet before being placed in a home.

I began the Renaissance line in 2004, but I had my first basset when I was 12. The dogs live in the house and have a large, fenced-in area in which to romp during good weather.The focus of my kennel is on show dogs and companions. Actually, all of my dogs are companions first, but many have also finished their championships in conformation.I’m extremely involved in promoting the breed. I currently serve as the president of the Basset Hound Club of Greater Detroit.
Basset hounds are a very unique breed of dog and they aren’t for everyone, but they are for me. They are loveable, stubborn, humerous, and mischievous dogs.
We do breed on occasion but we have them mainly because of our love of this breed.Our main focus is to maintain the AKC standard of excellence.That is how we produce the best puppies possible when we do have them. We have loved and raised basset hounds for 15 years and take the blessing of having these fantastic animals very seriously. They are first and foremost our pets, and family …. living in our home … which is where the puppies live out there time with us. Never exposed to outdoors at all to protect them from contagious disease. We work very closely with our veterinarian . Excellent health and temperament are what we strive for with our puppies as well as our dogs. We raise European and American basset hounds but most of our litters are half or full European ,with occasional American litters.

We acquired our first pet basset in 1980. She seemed to be so much fun and just a part of our family. Three children and many bassets later, I am still hooked on them. I have been training and showing ever since. I am proud to have placed my Basset puppies thoughout the United States
